How long have you been a tour guide?
More than 12 years.
What drove you to become a tour guide?
I was leading hikes in and around NYC and started studying Central Park extensively.
What types of tours do you offer?
Walking and Hiking Tours.
What is the most gratifying part of your work?
I find leading my tours to be fun and I always learn something new when I give a tour.
What time of year would you consider your busy season?
Spring, Summer and Fall.
What upcoming or annual events, promotions or sales would you like to promote?
I have just published a middle grade novel called "You Gotta Have Heart" which is suitable for ages 10 and up (adults included!). It is about an orphaned 12 year old boy growing up in NYC in 1999 whose parents were licensed NYC tour guides. Many of the scenes that take place in the book will be familiar to GANYC guides. The book is available in paper for $9.99 on Amazon and will be available elsewhere and as an e-book soon. The editorial reviews have been excellent.

Prepare alot for a tour and enjoy what you are doing.
