The GANYC Apple Awards celebrate those who make New York City great! Over a dozen awards are given out each year to individuals & organizations from across our five boroughs. In addition to these main nominated categories below, we will be awarding a Lifetime Achievement Award to author & activist Eric K. Washington, and our Guiding Spirit Award to Bob Gelber!

2. Macy’s for their giant welcoming events such as the fireworks, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Santaland
3. Asad Dandia for his work with NYC Narratives, teaching kids in schools how to start tour business, bringing tour to underprivileged groups and new groups, and telling untold Arab history
4. Rockefeller Center for their many free public events and programming, from Olympics viewing parties to the Rockefeller Tree
