After retiring from the New York State Court System, I wanted to introduce tourists to my hometown of New York City. During the past twelve years I have been leading American and foreign tourists, helping them discover places and neighborhoods most tourists will not visit on their own. In my new career I am also on staff as a volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art: A learning experience that has allowed me to help visitors explore the 2nd largest museum in the world. Additionally, as an almost 20-year volunteer at OpenHouseNY, one of the largest celebrations of architecture in America, I have developed a real appreciation of New York's built environment. As a licensed tour guide I am actively involved in the Guides Association of the New York City; having been on the Board of Directors for 6 years, and now sitting on the Education Committee, Awards Committee, Industry Relations Committee. I enjoy taking people through interesting areas of the City, including Central Park, Wall Street, the Lower East Side, exploring upcoming neighborhoods in Brooklyn, to name a few. I am also a chocoholic and lead chocolate walks through SoHo. There's no greater feeling than learning history while enjoying some of the best Chocolate New York has to offer. All in all, the last fourteen years have been an amazing experience, meeting fascinating people from all over, while introducing them to everything this great City has to offer.
